Well-developed and up-to-date safety policies and rules serve as the “backbone” for overall workplace safety and health. They help create a standard by which the efforts of managers, supervisors, and employees can be evaluated. Effective and complete safety policies and rules can also help ensure your organization is in compliance with regulatory safety and health standards while keeping your workers’ compensation costs in check. This program will cover the following key areas:
• How to Develop/Update Safety Policies/Rules
• Review “Must Have” Safety and Health Policies
• Discuss Effective Policy Format Options
• Learn Simple Safety Policy Training Techniques for Employees
• Obtain Resources to Assist in Development of Quality Safety Policies/Rules
