| Program Description: |
This session is designed to provide participants with a combination of classroom and field experience. • General trenching/excavation requirements including surface encumbrances, means of egress, air quality testing, water accumulation, inspection and competent person • Soil classifications • Protection systems including sloping, shoring and shielding • Rescue In the afternoon, the class will be conducted in the field, where equipment demonstrations will be conducted on hydraulic shoring, air shores and shields. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE, SO PLEASE BRING RAIN GEAR NOTE: We have limited parking at the CVMIC office. Below we have attached a map with our designated parking spaces for your reference. Please DO NOT park in the medical lot adjacent to our building. |
