Instructions for Returning CVMIC Videotapes
Thank you for your interest in the CVMIC Training Resource Library. As the collection of safety training
videotapes grows more valuable, the greater the need becomes for strict inventory control. The following procedures
are intended to protect the interests of both CVMIC and its members. Remember: the users of the videotapes assume
sole responsibility for their safe return.
Below are listed the instructions for returning videotapes to CVMIC:
- Videotapes are to be returned within two (2) weeks. If you find that the videos are needed for a longer time period,
please call the CVMIC office to request a time extension.
- All videos must be insured at the cost of replacement. The video prices are listed for most of the videos in the catalog.
If there is no cost noted with the video, then the video must be insured at $300.00.
- Videotapes must be returned rewound and in the same case in which they were shipped.
- A pre-addressed return-shipping label has been enclosed for your convenience.
- The same return instructions must be followed if videotapes are not being returned to the CVMIC office but to another
CVMIC member instead.
- Any training materials provided with the video are to be returned along with the video.
- Please fill out a video evaluation sheet on each video that was checked out. This will assist CVMIC in determining the
quality and usefulness of the videos in the library.
Thank you for your cooperation with this procedure. The intent of this procedure is to ensure the orderly and efficient return
of loaned materials. CVMIC can be proud of the collection of training videotapes available to members at no charge. This collection
will continue to improve and grow with the cooperation of its users.
