CVMIC Cares – COVID Procedures

CVMIC is excited to reintroduce in-person training at the CVMIC Training center. CVMIC training events will follow the guidelines established by the CDC and our internal COVID procedures to create a learning environment that is both rewarding and safe.

On February 25th, 2022 the CDC published revised masking guidelines that are based on a county’s COVID19 risk level. Currently, Milwaukee County is not listed as a “high” risk transmission area.

As a result, CVMIC guests and staff are not required to wear face coverings. As always, members are welcome to wear masks while at CVMIC if they prefer.

Per CDC guidelines, CVMIC asks that you wear a mask if you are coming from a high-risk county, are currently symptomatic, recently tested positive, or spent time with someone who has tested positive. CVMIC will continue to follow CDC guidelines (as we have since the start of the COVID19 pandemic) and may need to enforce more stringent procedures if things change in the future.

In light of these updated guidelines some other modified precautions include:

  • Private tables for individuals looking to maintain social distancing

  • The option to eat lunch in a private space while at training

  • Increased cleaning and sanitation protocols

  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building

CVMIC will continue to offer virtual training for those who are unable, uninterested, or uncomfortable joining public training following these guidelines. Please see the training calendar for more details.

If you have any questions, please contact CVMIC for more details as guidance and recommendations update.

We are excited to see you back at the CVMIC training center!
