DESCRIPTION:Description: \nThis Social Media Roundtable meeting will review common challenges\, best-practices\, and training related to social media posting\, edits\, and more. This roundtable training program is designed to address topics that are both timely and relevant to municipal professionals tasked with operating social media pages. The roundtable will feature open and informal discussion with participants and a training from attorney Ryan Heiden. Please come prepared with your questions\, solutions\, and best-practices to share with your peers. \nAttorney\, Ryan Heiden\, Von Briesen & Roper\, will review the legal do’s and don’ts of social media. This program will feature the current case law and best practices that help social media practitioners make good choices for themselves and their municipality. \nPresenter: \n \nRyan Heiden \nAttorney \nVon Briesen & Roper\, s.c. \nRyan Heiden is a Shareholder in the Government Law Group where he focuses his practice on school law and public sector labor and employment issues. \nRyan helps public sector employers navigate and minimize risk with respect to a wide range of complex and sensitive labor and employment issues by providing employers with trusted and practical guidance. Ryan routinely provides counsel related to antidiscrimination practices\, employee medical issues\, wage and hour matters\, internal investigations\, employee discipline\, and crisis management. He also serves as principal negotiator during collective bargaining and handles numerous other labor relations issues.
