“Be the boss you’ve always wanted”: The people side of leadership

An individual with strong personal, leadership, and process skills is well on their way to leading others; however, a leader cannot be effective if no one in the organization is following. Leadership requires an ability to motivate, recognize, inspire, delegate, and develop. A successful leader must be able to work well with others.

After attending this program participants will be able to:

  • Describe the difference between being a “boss” and being a “leader”
  • Define and implement the positive power of a Growth Mindset
  • Use the tools to create and sustain lasting change (implementing the vision)
  • Explore and practice inspiring and enabling their team to act

This program helps to highlight the interpersonal skills and leadership actions that motivate, change, and enable the people around them.
