Anne E. Schwartz, WI DOJ Instructor, Milwaukee Police (retired), Chief Communications Strategist at Crivello Nichols & Hall, S.C. Develops communication strategies for critical incidents involving public sector clients.

Anne E. Schwartz is a veteran print and broadcast journalist, author, and a nationally recognized trainer of strategic communication and public relations for emergency management professionals as an adjunct professor of the National Criminal Justice Training Center. She served as communications director for the Milwaukee Police Department for eight years. In 1991, as a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal broke the story of Jeffrey Dahmer. Currently, Anne supports the CVMIC membership in her work with the law firm of Crivello, Nicholas & Hall responding to critical incidents.

Sam Hall, Jr., Managing Partner of Crivello, Nichols & Hall, S.C. Principal practice focuses on federal civil rights litigation, crisis management, government affairs and appellate advocacy.

Atty. Hall is the Managing Partner at Crivello Carlson, S.C., where he helps manage the firm’s legal work throughout the country. His principal practice focuses on federal civil rights litigation, government affairs, public records law, and appellate advocacy. Sam has successfully represented hundreds of law enforcement officers, school officials, prosecutors, judges, and other government officials in a wide variety of cases.
