VIRTUAL EVENT: Resilience for Real Life: Managing Stress and Supporting Well-Being
–
August 12, 2026
Free to Members and non-members
Stress is a natural part of life, and resilience helps us meet challenging moments with steadiness, flexibility, and care. Resilience is not something we simply have or do not have - - it is a set of skills and everyday practices that can grow over time.
For leaders and HR professionals, caring for our own resilience shapes how we support others. When we attend to our well-being, we are better able to help employees recognize strengths, navigate challenges, and build confidence.
In this session, we will explore how stress and resilience interact and influence well-being. We will discuss practical tools, mindset approaches, and everyday habits that can help strengthen resilience.
During our time together, we will:
- Explore what resilience means and why it matters for overall well-being
- Recognize the connection between stress, coping, and resilience
- Discover mindsets, habits, and behaviors that can strengthen resilience over time
- Identify simple tools that build and support resilience
- Choose one small, realistic action to support personal resilience moving forward
