COMMITTEES THAT FOCUS ON CVMIC OPERATIONS

The Board of Directors has established committees to focus on the operations of CVMIC. The committees are comprised of member representatives who are appointed by the Board President and confirmed by the Board of Directors.

Finance Committee

The responsibilities of the Committee are to review, with input from staff, advisors, consultants, etc., where appropriate, all financial aspects of CVMIC operations, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Budget
  • Accounting policy
  • Financial reports
  • Investment policy
  • Banking and Trustee services
  • Consultant contracts
  • Items referred by the Board of Directors

Claims Committee

The responsibilities of the Committee are to review, with input from staff, advisors, consultants, etc., where appropriate, all aspects of the Claims Management Program of CVMIC, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Claims handling procedures
  • Accountability of Claims Administrator
  • Claims review
  • Claims settlement
  • Litigation policy
  • Items referred by Board of Directors
