Let’s face it, dealing with indemnity and insurance requirements can be tedious. No one likes to haggle about the terms of a contract or worry about whether a contractor has provided the correct insurance. Requesting, obtaining, and verifying insurance for contracted goods and services takes time, can be aggravating, and most often doesn’t seem to make any difference, since most contracts are completed without incident. However, when an incident occurs, all of those efforts become worth it.
